LANSING'S DAY OF PEACE
This year on september 21, 2012 lansing will participate, along with hundreds of other cities and countries around the world, in the first ever Global Day of Truce. This event will be groundbreaking in that there will be a record number of people around the world gathered on this day in the name of peace. Here in lansing we will be gathering at the Lansing City Market in honor of this day of peace. Our hope is to use this day to promote peace, healthy living activities and generosity. The Peace of Lansing event will start at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the market closes at 6 p.m.
